Gingivitis pain

How to get rid of gingivitis fast at home? How is gingivitis different from periodontitis? Gingivitis does not always cause pain , so you may not know you have it. If your gums are puffy, swollen, receding or reddish, you may have gingivitis. You may notice a red or pink color on your toothbrush or floss, indicating that your gums bleed easily.

The symptoms of gingivitis are somewhat non-specific and manifest in the gum tissue as the classic signs of inflammation : Swollen gums. Bright red or purple gums. Bad breath ( halitosis).
