How clove oil helps toothache

Does clove oil really work for toothaches? Can 1percent clove oil be used for toothache? Can I put clove oil directly in my dry socket? What are the side effects of clove oil? Squeeze a few drops of clove oil with teaspoon of olive oil into your dish.
