Throbbing tooth pain at night

What to do for a toothache that gets worse at night? But regardless of what causes the pain , it seems to get worse at night which makes it impossible to get any sleep. During the day there are many distractions from the pain while you go about the activities of everyday living. Throbbing tooth pain often gets worse at night.

Of course, not all pain is throbbing pain , sometimes tooth issues cause shooting, sharp pain , while some others cause dull, persistent ache. We all agree that having a throbbing knee pain at night could bring our quality of sleep to the bottom of the pit!

I had crown prep done a few days ago but have a constant tooth ache since.
