Should you drink water before or after brushing your teeth? Fluoride remineralizes your enamel , helps young children develop their adult teeth and decreases the acid production of plaque. If you’re like me, you’ve been rinsing out with water after you brush for your whole life and you don’t feel like it’s really affected your life for the worse. I rinse until the toothpaste is gone.

Tobacco products can prohibit healing and increase the risk of complications. With a fluoride rinse you can use the mouthwash right after brushing your teeth.


Choose a separate time, such as after lunch. If you rinse with water after brushing your teeth , you will remove any residual fluoride that has been left behind from your toothpaste which will continue to help to protect your teeth from dental decay.
