I feel like my gums are receding

In a case of receding gums , you can often feel a notch where your gumline used to be. Sensitivity is a very common sign gums are receding. You May Feel Receding Gums Before You See Them. In fact, the first sign of gum recession is often tooth sensitivity or sore gums. The reason I think they are receding is because I can see on one of the teeth that there is an indentation close to where the gums are (on the bottom of the tooth) and this indentation is.


Left untreate it can eventually cause bone and tooth loss. Many things can cause receding gums ,. This can lead to more recession. If this is the case, there are many treatment options such as simple cleanings or scaling and root planing.
