Hidden tooth abscess

Finding a hidden tooth abscess with dental x-rays. Paige, the beagle, came in for one of her regular, preventative oral exams and cleanings. Oral x-rays revealed problems that not only meant that Paige was in pain and hiding it well, but also put her at risk of damage to her organs from infection from the mouth.


I Have neglected my teeth for a while, and am in the process of getting them all fixed. I had a bunch a cavities fille scaling, root planning, preventative root canal ( tooth was not abscessed ) with crown.

I still need crowns upper right, and one crown lower right with a few more cavities filled. Evidently, this is a very noticeable indication of infection. Further, other tooth abscess signs are unpleasant odour in the mouth or bad taste.
