Do you rinse after using mouthwash? Should you Floss your teeth before or after brushing? Why do I get nauseous after brushing my teeth?


If your mouth is filled with froth after brushing , you might be using too much toothpaste. If you really want to rinse , you can put a little bit more toothpaste on your toothbrush and brush it on your teeth and spit out the rest after rinsing. That way any food particles can be rinsed out and you are still getting the benefit of leaving toothpaste on your teeth.

You want to leave the fluoride on your teeth as long as possible. If you’re like me, you’ve been rinsing out with water after you brush for your whole life and you don’t feel like it’s really affected your life for the worse. If you are one of those people who uses a mouthwash right after brushing, health experts do not recommend that either. Using mouthwash right after does the same thing as rinsing with water – it washes away the layer of fluoride. Use a mouthwash after lunch, when you do not brush your teeth. Don’t use it for more than weeks. However it is worth noting that whitening agents need to stay on your teeth for a while to work well.


The idea is to allow your teeth to absorb the fluoride. So my guess would be the same probably applies to mouthwash.
